Sisterhood

An exhibit at Reykjavík Art Museum in 2018, inspired by Grapíka Islandica—a newly founded movement of female graphic designers in Iceland.

Grapíka Íslandica is a powerful sisterhood, where sisters seek ideas, knowledge and determination to support and empower their own creative leadership. The exhibit, consisted of five flags, embodying the power of the sisterhood, inspired by old secret societies, alchemy, magic and mystery. Posters were also printed and sold, two tattoos have been etched onto bodies. (Iceland’s ultimate sister, Björk, even showed up to the exhibit).
