Tranna Wintour—Safe from your affection

The much awaited debut from spiritual, pop-culture-obsessed, fashion-hungry, transgender comedian, singer, producer, and writer Tranna Wintour.

She’s basically Barbra Streisand minus the fame, fortune, and cloned dogs. She was selected as one of Just For Laugh’s New Faces Canada in 2019. She hosts and co-produces the Chosen Family podcast, named one of Apple’s Best Podcasts of 2018.

Tranna’s musical debut with internationally acclaimed musician and producer Mark Andrew Hamilton (of Woodpigeon and Front Person) features a mix of covers and original songs, co-written by Tranna. The album is a delicate, poetic mix of pop and folk which the artwork strives to embody, with scans of freshly cut flowers and a hauntingly beautiful portrait by Jess Cohen.
